Some Notes for Voice and EV-DO Service in New England

Verizon holds cellular band (B or A Band) licenses for most of New England. In these areas, they offer voice services on the cellular bands. For EV-DO, they offer data services on additional spectrum in the PCS bands. Each of these PCS bands may vary based on Basic Trading Areas (BTA), which boils down to county-based spectrum which can vary from band to band.

The State of Rhode Island is also EV-DO enabled with availability from Providence and points south, north to the Massachusetts border and east to Connecticut and Block Island
