Cingular / AT&T GSM * Sprint is now co-located at this site too. Their
BTS is located inside the Nextel shelter.
Sprint was performing antenna
maintainance with a cherry picker truck the week of May 14, 2007. Top Picture - A view of the Nextel antennas mounted on the top rim of the water tower. They use 3 antennas per sector based on the diversity receiver setup they have for iDEN. Sprint PCS is also mounted here as one antenna per sector. Bottom Picture - Cingular is on the pole and T-Mobile is on the triangular base mount structure. The wires for all three carriers are located on the west side of the tank and are not pained to match the color - they stand out very well as black on the light blue. |
